SAMS truck clamping frame system
The patented SAMS assembly system is as simple as it is brilliant. Similar to a picture frame, anodised aluminium sections are assembled, and into this frame, the advertising tarp is clamped crease-free. The tensioning mechanism is self-locking. Four corner coverings as additional safeguard prevent the system from opening. Once assembled, each subject exchange becomes a short pit stop. Within a few minutes only, the truck is “on the road again”.
SAMS was developed by entrepreneur Rainer Schuh, who in the 7th generation already operates a specialist truck body company in Wiener Neustadt. Inventiveness has always been a tradition in the entrepreneurial family. While his grandfather still employed sign-painters for the labelling of the trucks, his father used adhesive films already. With the invention of SAMS, Rainer Schuh now starts a new dimension of truck advertising: subject exchange now only takes as long as a coffee break.
SAMS is applicable for:
- Fixed truck superstructures and swap trailers: adhesive assembly without damaging surfaces or insulation, respectively
- Trapezoidal sheet containers and waste-disposal vehicles: assembly using rivets
Compared to conventional labelling with films, SAMS is simply unbeatable.
SAMS advantages:
- Initial assembly in only about 3 hours (fully labelled surface approx. 6 hours)
- Advertising tarps of one piece (no overlapping, no fragmentation)
- Subject exchange in only approx. 20 minutes (removal of old films and new labelling takes up to 10 hours)
- Reusable advertising tarps (adhesive films are destroyed upon removal)
- Exchange of tarps more cost effective than fully labelled surfaces
- Small damages (dents, scratches, cracks) are covered with the tarp
- Additional thermal insulation due to the air cushion between tarp and superstructure

SAMS Safety:
- In Austria, SAMS was checked and approved by BMVIT, and may also be applied for trucks with the maximum width
- SAMS was checked by Austrian Federal Railways and approved for combined traffic
- In Germany, SAMS obtained the ABE (general operating licence) by the KBA (Federal Office for Motor Traffic)
- SAMS was checked by TÜV Austria and may be provided with the TÜV AUSTRIA AUTOMOTIVE GMBH GEBRAUCHSWERTGEPRÜFTZEICHEN [utility value test mark]
The assembly of SAMS must exclusively be undertaken by Trevision or 4media themselves or by authorised assembly partners, respectively. This guarantees the exclusive use of original system components, which also includes adhesive agent and tarpaulin, and is the basis for the 4media guarantee and warrantee as well as for the ABE.
