FLEXLIGHT

Flexlight clamping frame system for large-scale backlighting
The system consists of two functional parts: the clamping frame at the front, into which the – printed or unprinted – clamping film is suspended, and the illuminated case behind it, in which the complete electrical and illumination system is installed. The illuminated case is mounted at an existing substructure or directly at a wall, and the clamping frame is suspended thereafter. For installation heights of up to approx. 2 m, following assembly, the front clamping frame can simply be popped-up in order to access the electrical system, e.g. for servicing. For larger formats, the clamping film is simply unhinged. Depending on format and area of application, installation depths of 168, 200 and 250 mm are available.
Double-sided illuminated cases have their own illumination case section, into which the clamping frames can be suspended from both sides. The installation depth in this case is 370 mm.
Efficient assembly: since the FLEXlight system consists of only a view individual parts, quick and simple assembly of the pre-manufactured individual parts is one of the big advantages of this system. It is also essential that breakable parts are missing, which is why long-term and failure-free operation is guaranteed.

For illumination, we either use T5 fluorescent lamps with electronic ballast or direct and indirect LED technology of the latest development stage with more than 100 l/W. Despite higher manufacturing costs, the break-even compared to conventional technology is achieved due to the high energy savings after a few years already. In addition, there is the extremely long service life of 10 years and more, which for exposed installations represents a particularly important factor. The LED illumination is permanently uniform, independent of the ambient temperature. Thus, there is a uniform appearance in summer and winter. The formation of shades due to a deterioration of the fluorescent lamps thus is a thing of the past.
