FURTHER PROCESSING

An important step in production is the further processing of the printed materials. Here, very exact and diligent working is required. Therefore, for cutting we also use the latest generation of a computer-controlled cutting and milling plotter of the company Zünd, the 3 XL 3000, which cuts the prints to pre-defined dimensions exact to the mm directly from rolls with a width of 3.2 m.

Following cutting, the individual material webs are joined into entire images. Depending on the material, this is executed either with the HF welding machine – for example for tarps and mesh - and a 24 m assembly table, onto which the largest images can be positioned, or the images are sewn together, as is common for textiles. The edges are then reinforced or provided with a seam in the required fashion and adapted for assembly with flat welts, eyelets, straps, Velcro tape or twist fasteners.
