Tarp + mesh
 |
| |
Mesh is used, wherever translucency, for example at facades, or weight, for very large formats, are important factors. Special versions of this mesh are a particularly close-meshed, dense structure for best image display, as well as a mesh printed in grey to black on the rear, the facade mesh “magic”, which provides for substantially better visibility from behind.

For the tarpaulins, there likewise are most different versions for most different applications. The incident light tarp B1 is the most widely used tarp, and it is used, for example, for object designs, where particularly high strength is required. Transmitted light tarps are used for illuminated cases with large formats. Here, there are versions for short-term (eco) and long-term use. Special versions are tarps with a black back to avoid transmitted light, as well as multi-layer tarps with a light-blocking central part (block-out), which can be printed on both sides. New is a PVC-free polyester tarp for small to medium formats. This tarp is likewise light-blocking, and due to its low weight, it can be easily transported and stored. The Airtex tarps have coated surfaces, which give them a slight textile character. Last but not least, of course there also are truck tarps in two common thicknesses. The UV colours of Durst used for printing these truck tarps can be provided with a UV protection paint, which substantially improves the durability as well as the resilience against mechanical damage.
